Really good buy....but it depends what your looking for in a phone. My phone does freeze up rarely, especially when i multi-task by sending messages and deleting at the same time.

Pros:
- What I really love about the N82 is it's multitasking capabilities, I could talk using
my bluetooth headset and being able to text at the same time.
- Great quality pictures!
- Wifi
- Real player
- ...There's more.

Cons:
- Default Music Player: The music player rounds up the song for you, so to create your
playlist you have to go through each song one by one and select it rather than just
going to the memory card and playing it in the folder. You could play music directly
from the memory song, but you have to manually go to the next song instead of it
already going to the next song on its own.

Like Mr. G said, just do it!!! I'm still in debt to my credit card from buying this phone, but it's well worth it . If you still want to do some phone searching and see what other phones may come out, try checking this site...

it all depends on ur needs i hate to say this but if u love to text and show off you kool new phone i dont think u should get it...ive had the phone for about 10 days and fill like selling it..the reasons r.. it lacks the wow factor.. many off the ppl that see me with a new phone just say oh.. u got a new phone.. did dont say wow is that a new phone.. it looks nice..like when i got my treo or wing..you have to wait til nigth to wow ppl with the flash.. the keypads are super small..the screen is normal size..the sound is okish...the screen fades alot in the sun..you cant find a new 1 for under 400$$, even if it has a 5mp camera the pixs still look as if i took them with my blackberry 8100..small amounts of useful apps..cant change the screen saver...abit thick..the screen could be brighter..nokia maps take for ever to get you voice guided derection if not on 3g data speeds..hard to organize pics and play list.oem headphone are low quality...u thats all the cons i could think off..

pros.. fast gps lock.5mp camera..xenon flash..lots of ram..things all i can think of for pros.. maybe get a e71.. or a blackberry
at lease i didnt get a n95

Lightbulb

I am more than happy with my Nokia N82! There is almost no limit to 3rd party software available for the Symbian S60v3 phones like this one.

Having said that, what do you want in a mobile device? I say this because it is not just a phone, the Nokia N82 is in effect a hand held computer and camera with a phone in it.

Tonight I saw some friends and one of them has just spent $AU1,700 (GBP 696.022) on the new N96. He does not even know how to turn a computer on and struggled with his Nokia 6300 and all he does is listen to the built in FM Radio! I even had to show him how to use the FM Radio in it. I shook my head and thought why?

So it certainly isn't the phone for everyone, but if you love technology it is a great choice.
