Well its now offical, you can't get the n82 on high st.Orange have removed dummy handset and guy says theres no plans to re stock it.Phones 4 u who had it on orange have stopped it as have c.P.W.Considering i cant find a bad review of it online and it's winning awards for imaging,I find this highly suspect. What do they know that we don't.The 6220 classic is everywhere and theres only £50 difference in price and its considered a lesser model.Am i the only one that finds this strange?

Well got email to say that the return of my 3rd n82 was recieved on wedensday at 11am.The last time i got this email it was quickly followed by two other emails one saying thank you for your order the other to inform me order had shipped, however no such luck this time.So i phoned wedensday 12.50 got rob who ive dealt with before.Explained to him that i hadnt got confirmation of new order,he told me(what i knew at the time was)a load of bull, saying that the 1st email was my conformation and that my order was shipped.I asked what nokia were going to do about the 3 faulty handsets and to ensure that i recieved an acceptable handset. He basically said there was nothing he could do.I asked for an address to send complaint he said he would email it too me.So today thursday i recieved no email from rob and tracked my order only to find it had not been shipped.I phoned again got christian,i tell him my order was placed before 1.30 deadline and i should be recieving it that day only to find that it had not been shipped.I tell him rob had told me it had been shipped and promised me a email i never recieved,he puts me on hold.He comes back saying just spoke to rob he says he did not say that.I demand to be put onto rob he does.I tell rob you did tell me it had been shipped and my response was i'll quote you on that.He says i might have done, cant remember it.I say look i phoned yesterday before 1.30 deadline to make sure i got my phone today, you told me it was shipped why did you say that when it wasnt true did you just lie,his response was to LAUGH.I said i wish i could see the bloody funny side so i could laugh to.He said oh your quite right it's not funny.I ask him why he did not send email with address to complain,he said he did and he had just resent it i have recieved no such email.I know why rob laughed i know whats funny, the joke is me and any other customer who finds there selfs in my posistion. Those two phones calls cost me £11.I estimate ive now spent £60+ more like £70 add to that lost express delivery charge £9.99 and recorded delivery £6.40.Im now approaching the £100 mark money wasted that ill never see again.

That is shocking treatment mate. I really don't understand why it is so difficult for these people to organise a replacement handset and get it shipped to you without any of this nonsense.

Incidentally, I am also looking for contact details to address a letter of complaint to. Laughing at the customer is absolutely ridiculous, incredibly unprofessional and totally unacceptable. I have also dealt with Rob a few times and to be quite frank he was useless. He was the agent who advised me to check my account as my refund would be there. This, after I clearly informed him I had already checked prior to my call. A store manager told me he was also wrong to advise me that sending via Special Delivery was okay to do. Disappointing to learn that Nick wasn’t able to help you, considering how efficiently he dealt with my escalation.

As for me, I finally received my refund at the beginning of this week. What I wasn’t expecting (for some unknown reason) was that the refund included the express delivery charge. Now I’ve money to spend on a new phone, but I’m none the wiser as what to go for. Decisions, decisions!

Glad your moneys been refunded dash, really hope that you dont have to deal with those muppets any more.Nokia online has been an education for me and next phone after this one will have nothing to do with them.As for your next phone im struggling to advise you.I dont think a new high spec model will ever be reliable.Wont be an early adopter(guinue pig) and suffer all the problems that goes with it.You only need to look at nokia discussion boards its full of n96 problems.Maybe best hanging onto new year sales see whats out there when prices drop. One things for sure no effin xmas card for nokia!

Sorry to hear that, Nokia Online is a complete shambles! It's a real shame there appears to be no other avenue for you to persue to obtain this handset fault free. I would personally contact trading standards and inform Nick of this. I would also quote him the reference number you receive from trading standards. In fact, this is exactly what I did when they were messing me about with my first N95 8GB replacement. Soon after, things improved. Funny that, isn't it?!

Default Conclusion near!

Well it's been a while,i'll try to be as brief as i can.So handset number 4 arrived it's not a 100% still has the infamous gap at usb port, and the phone creaks like hell.Major issue though is still dead pixels in camera mode this one has 4,however and this one had me scratching my head no dead pixels in video mode but its the same lens?.No dead pixels on screen though and keypads less spongy than all the others.Been using the phone almost a week and no software issue's it's truly a great phone let down by the manufacturing. There has been other developments which mean it looks like i'll be keeping this handset don't want to jinx things by speaking about it just yet though.
